We are a group of childcare professionals providing quality-loving care in our homes. Our organization gathers monthly for training, which meets state and local requirements to enhance our programs. Through this network of providers, we support one another and exchange ideas to enrich the children’s lives that we care for every week. Many of our members are affiliated with the TPHCCA (Texas Professional Home Child Care Association) and the NAFCC (National Association for Family Child Care), as well as other child centered organizations. Annually, we volunteer, or gather donations as a group to support our local food and clothing banks. We also enjoy the privilege of giving to the Angel Tree every Christmas. You may have seen us at a city parade or other event. Be looking for us, because we care about the families in our communities and hope to serve you well.
We are all concerned about your children. All of the providers listed on our site are due paying members of the Denton Area Child Care Association. The Texas State Department of Protective and Regulatory Services regulates all of us (http://www.tdprs.state.tx.us/), which means each provider is listed, registered or licensed. All regulated caregivers meet the minimum standards set forth by the state, but parents must do their homework. It is up to you to do several interviews, ask lots of questions and find the right caregiver and setting for your child.
Several things will vary from one provider to another, so visit several to find one that suits your family.
